Trump turns up the heat on Cruz, courts female voters
Trump also quizzed Cruz about his smear on “New York values”, and Cruz explained that he said it backwards like Yoda and really valued NY.

One question the fake Trump threw at Cruz is how the candidate would recover in NY from his statements at a January debate where he appeared to disparage “New York values”.
“I haven’t built any buildings in New York City, but I have spent my entire life fighting to defend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights”, Cruz told the audience, per The Hill. “I think we’ll win a majority at the convention and then we’ll go on and beat Hillary in November”.
Watch Jimmy Fallon give Ted Cruz his epic Donald Trump impersonation treatment. “And the bigger – you can’t see me, but I’m pointing at my Trump Tower”.
Ted Cruz was largely ignored while speaking at a GOP gala in New York City on Thursday, as he continued to shrug off his “New York values” comment made earlier in the campaign, reported The Hill. “Oh, I’m the bigger man”, said Fallon.
Trump asked Cruz if he was watching the Democratic presidential debate, and Cruz replied, “Nope, I’m watching “The Princess Bride” for the 843rd time”. And let’s face it, anyone that high definitely voted for me, so basically I won Colorado.
“Well, first of all, we need to put an end to President Obama’s amnesty”, Cruz answered, matter-of-factly.

Polls show Trump with a commanding lead in the Republican race in NY, held next Tuesday (April 19). Instead, Cruz reached for a bottle of liquor and poured himself a glass of whiskey or bourbon.
