The film “Fan” is an obsessive, weird yet watchable action-thriller that shows superstar Shah Rukh Khan in a whole new light. The film releases across more than 3,500 screens. The Fan story is the same at the city’s single-screen theatres, with most sporting houseful boards even before the first frames light up screens. Senior AK and Junior AK characters were excellently balanced by Shah Rukh Khan like never before.

The desperate acts that Gaurav resorts to with the intention of running Aryan Khanna’s career to the ground are overly dramatic and not always convincing.

But a day before the release of FAN in India, we read some tweets saying that only the first half of FAN is good. I am sure all ardent fans see a bit of themselves in him, whether it is collecting every paper clipping of the star or having huge posters of him on the wall or of nursing an nearly impossible dream of at some point coming face-to-face with the “God” himself. Gaurav’s affection towards Khanna shows what love means and what a person is capable of doing if he does not recieve that love in return. “He’s very humble, loving, extremely warm and keeps hugging you all the time”. What still makes the movie a victor is the absolutely brilliant performance by King Khan.
“It is one sided”. Minor roles offered to Sachin Pilgaonkar’s daughter – Shriya and Waluscha D’Souza have been carried out well.
He said: “I call it my second home – I love being in London and, I’m sorry, I like the grey weather”. The same chase, the same fight, the same insane thing, which somehow makes the film very much fake. I praised the lack of choreography in the film, but then the film presented me with a fight sequence as choreographed as a dance sequence.

We might get to see some intense romance between Khan and Anushka Sharma, who plays a key role in “Sultan”, where in one scene, she slaps Khan.
