Hillary Clinton Now Says She Supports a $15 Minimum Wage
But of late, the scenario has changed and the final debate before the April 19 primary in NY on Thursday (April 14) was quite a bruised affair with the rivals even going to the extent of launching pesonal attacks–something which is being seen in the Republican debates more. “I question a judgment that voted for the war in Iraq, the worst foreign policy blunder in the history of this country”. And it’s a gap that Sanders has managed to squeeze in NY, as well, although not to the same extent.

“It’s a joke. It’s a total joke”, Clinton said.
And Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver told CNN’s Anderson Cooper Friday that Democratic leaders should be careful about driving away the young voters who are supporting his bid. Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders says in an interview with The Associated Press that he met with Pope Francis.
They slugged it out over Wall Street.
The comment came on the heels of a particularly contentious debate Thursday night, during which Sanders again hammered Hillary Clinton for taking Wall Street money in the form of paid speeches. “We have got to lead the world in transforming our energy system, not tomorrow, but yesterday”, he said.
Sanders rebutted: “Secretary Clinton called them out”.
But Jeannine Lewis, a Clinton supporter, said the protesters’ anger is misguided.
“Speculation, illicit financial flows, environmental destruction, and the weakening of the rights of workers is far more severe today that it was a quarter-century ago”, the Democratic presidential candidate said. “We have so many people coming through the doors asking how they can help – it’s exciting”.
An average of several polls at RealClearPolitics shows how Sanders’ game has improved overall, as well: on January 1, Clinton led by 24 points.
“If she just keeps doing what she’s doing she will win here in NY and she will win in the battle for delegates”, says Mann.

On the fight for a $15 minimum wage, Clinton said NY should be a model for the nation, with some areas starting at $15, and some moving there gradually.
