Called Samsung Galaxy Folder, the device is the successor to the Galaxy Folder from 2013 (but, as you can see, its name remained unchanged).

As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy J5 comes with a 5 inch HD display that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the device also comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and 1.5GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Folder comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.
“The folding-style design combined with smartphone features, including the Internet, messenger and social networking services, will add to the device’s convenience”, Samsung said of its new offering.
Industry watchers said such a shift in their lineup strategy is attributable to the enactment of a new law in October last year, which caps the phone subsidies that mobile carriers can provide to retail stores at 330,000 won.
This new flip phone will be available in South Korea beginning next month in both Black and White color options for around $250. Aside from the fact that these form factors render enhanced durability to the handsets & are known to have better battery life, the shape also makes the flip phone stand out amidst a sea of smooth, sleek, flat, touchscreen handsets.
According to market research firm IDC, Samsung grabbed the highest market share in the global smartphone segment in Q2 2015.
