Stephen Curry doesn’t practice Sunday, questionable for Game 2 Monday
You can’t knock somebody for the way he plays.

That is Kerr’s attempt to injecting one of his pet phrases – “appropriate fear” – upon his team.
Game 2 will be Monday in Oklahoma City. His reputation as an National Basketball Association villain was, for all intents and purposes, set in stone that day. Their 1-0 lead in the series, with another home game looming, could invite complacency and they seem to know it.
When asked whether he expects Curry to play, Warriors center Andrew Bogut said, “I’m not sure at this point”. Will he play in Game 2?
In that regard, they are kindred spirits.
“He’ll get treatment today, go get some rest, get off his feet, and we’ll do the same thing tomorrow at shootaround and see how he’s feeling”, Kerr said.
Were prepared. Were going to continue to play.
I just don’t want Curry to get involved in one of those. “Teams are going to try and rough you up”. Look how the (Detroit) Pistons used to do (Michael) Jordan. But you don’t want anything more serious to happen, favoring an ankle or whatnot.
Curry had 24 points on eight-of-13 shooting, including 16 points in the first quarter, before rolling his right ankle late in the second quarter of the first-round series opener in Oakland, California. The Warriors compiled their first nine points from deep as part of a first-half attack that ended with a 60-33 lead.
Curry utterly flustered defensive menace Patrick Beverley. Smith said the team was a little rattled at the start of the game, and Bickerstaff said everybody was too amped up, leading to some issues on the floor.
Anyways, Curry- no Curry, the Warriors are going to win because they are simply much better than this Rockets team.
And Curry, quite clearly, won’t be backing down. And now, with mutual respect in both directions and what one Thompson associate deemed “a low-key rivalry”, they are widely considered the two best shooting guards in the game. System basketball, with multiple ballhandlers, ball movement and dynamic scorers who are willing to be selfless when the time calls for it, is good.
“I didn’t like the way he was moving when he went back out for the third quarter”, Kerr said of Curry.
“No, he’s an aggressive player”, he continued. “Kind of changes things (when Steph isn’t around). The game shouldn’t be dirty by any means – I don’t think the other side will do that – but there is nothing wrong with playing physical”. Probably didn’t have a great face, frustrated because it’s different rotations and different flow of the game when I go out there early, but they bounced back, made plays.
“I missed a couple easy bunnies, and we really didn’t have a lot of movement offensively so were stagnant in our offense”, Harden said. He’s the best in the league at it, so we just have to stay disciplined.
This wasn’t the first time Beverley has been booed, though, and he’s not about to change his style on Game 2 on Monday.

“I thought he moved the ball well, he was able to get to his spots on the block, which is good”, Bickerstaff said.
