“If Tyson comes through his obligation and Anthony Joshua comes through Martin tomorrow, there’s no reason we can’t get that fight on next”.

Promoters Matchroom will also hope Saturday provides the first highlight of many in the professional career of Conor Benn, the 19-year-old son of popular former middleweight and super-middleweight world champion Nigel.
“I’m not getting carried away because still got a lot of work to do”, said the new champion.
“We’re going to go in June or July, then Klitschko-Fury is on July 9 and if Tyson wins that fight he will be looking to go November time and so will we”. That’s the plan. That was why Sky turned down the Fury-Klitschko fight (which will be on BoxNation) – they see AJ as the future.

Martin complained when the fight was waved off but Joshua was bouncing him off the canvas like a basketball. Peter Fury, Tyson’s uncle and trainer, confirmed on Twitter the rematch between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko on July 9 in Manchester, United Kingdom.
Regarding all the hype, I stay tucked away in the gym and when I am not I am in Asda, Ikea, just doing usual things.
“Every heavyweight has power”.
“But as I’ve said, we’ve got the belt now so let’s start adding some solid names for defences”.
Joshua said he was never awed by the moment and that he simply remained focused on what he had to do rather than get caught up in the enormous hype.

Joshua, who kept his flawless KO record in tact to advance to 16-0 with 16 KOs, earned a heavyweight belt in the fewest number of fights since Michael Bentt beat Tommy Morrison in just his 12th pro match in 1993.
