HTC announces its new $699 flagship handset — HTC 10
Earlier this morning, HTC announced its new smartphone, the HTC 10, revealing that the Android device will have the ability to wirelessly play audio through devices and speakers that support streaming via Apple’s AirPlay feature (via SlashGear).

All the leaks we have come across had already given us a fair idea of what we could expect from HTC, and the company hasn’t disappointed.
The rest of the specifications on the HTC 10 Lifestyle are the same as the HTC 10, these include a 5.2 inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Under the hood, its a typical 2016 flagship smartphone: Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 is the brains, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage round up the package, while HTC’s also including a microSD card slot for the camera insane. The hype train has been going strong these past several weeks, and not from the mouths of just anybody, but straight from HTC themselves. An enhanced music experience is a big focus for HTC this year, and its updated BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition tech is a testament to that. The latest teaser shows clear-cut mentions of an UltraPixel sensor, optical image stabilisation and 4K video in one of the frames.
The HTC 10 promises to make poor camera performance a thing of the past as it has a 12MP rear-facing camera with a f/1.8 lens, dual-LED flash and second-gen laser autofocus. The Snapdragon 820 variant has USB 3.1 Type-C port while the Snapdragon 652 variant is limited to USB 2.0 Type-C port. See below for our HTC 10 launch live blog. It is likely that other emerging markets in South East Asia will also get the HTC 10 Lifestyle model, powered by the Snapdragon 652 chipset. HTC’s teasers have also claimed that the device will be “the fastest and smoothest Android smartphone”.
The LG G5 is a great device and it stole headlines when it launched because it managed to be a little different with its modular build.

Regarding the HTC 10’s design, I’ll first note that it doesn’t look like an iPhone copy.
