Samsung’s all new series has been subject to rumors ever since Zauba, an Indian customs database, surfaced with an import listing of some mystery handsets.

There are also reports online that the Samsung Galaxy C7 will come paired with a smaller spin-off phone – the Samsung Galaxy C5. Although it’s thought they will be exclusively available in China at first, it’s possible that they might release in further markets at some point.

The upcoming handsets from the Galaxy C line will apparently come with a thin metallic chassis, according to Chinese sources (via Android Authority).

As for performance, the Galaxy C5 is really close to the higher-tier Galaxy A9. However now, another Samsung C series smartphone has been spotted on AnTuTu Benchmark with a model number SM-C7000. The benchmarks show that the smartphone has a Snapdragon 625 processor operating at 2 GHz with eight cores and an Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, with a 16-megapixel main camera at the rear and 8-megapixel snapper up front. The Galaxy C7 will most likely be a larger design, probably near phablet-sized, but should follow the same aesthetic cues as with the Galaxy C5. Right now, the cameras on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are the best smartphone cameras currently on the market. This handset is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and flaunts a 5 inch HD display.
