Wario64, a renowned game industry insider, recently tweeted with a prediction that 2K Games will release “Mafia 3” in October, which is the same month Microsoft Studios will release the upcoming third sequel of “Gears of War”. Now the game is in development for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Mafia 3 is the latest game from publisher Take Two Interactive.
“Mafia III continues 2K’s proud legacy of creating outstanding narrative experiences, and is poised to set a new standard for interactive storytelling”, said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. There’s also an in-game pre-order incentive detailed at the end of the trailer above.

The first trailer for Mafia III was released a year ago and was a cinematic trailer. Mafia III will be released on October 7.
