According to known leaker Wario64, Mafia III will be released “in the same month as Gears of War 4”, which is obviously October. Now the game is in development for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The game is set in the fictional city of New Bordeuax in 1968. The Mafia III Deluxe Edition ($79.99 MSRP) will be available digitally and physically in a limited capacity from select retailers, and includes both the game and access to additional, post-release downloadable content, including the Season Pass at additional savings. Of course, this isn’t confirmed by 2K so take this information with a grain of salt. 2K will reveal a brand new trailer tomorrow at 8 AM EST, and it’s highly likely we’ll get an official launch confirmation in the footage. The trailer will feature the game’s story and provide some more details about it. 2K Games is still tight-lipped on the release date for this title. The team at Hangar 13 also believes to have produced a game capable of standing up to the best in the genre, apparently.
