Media outlets refuse to give LAPD audio tape for Charlie Sheen investigation
LAPD Officer Mike Lopez said the department’s Van Nuys division took a threat report involving Sheen last Thursday, and “threat management” detectives were handling the case.

The LAPD has served a search warrant at the offices of Radar in search of the tape, and officers also want to search the offices of the Enquirer in NY for “all recordings to include audio, video, electronic communication, digital and electronic data pertaining to the articles”.
The former star of Two and Half Men and films including Wall Street and Platoon admitted his history of drink and drug abuse was a “bad decision” but said it was “impossible” he would have passed HIV on to anyone else.
Charlie Sheen is under investigation by the LAPD regardingcharges of harassment and stalking allegedly filed by his former fiancée and ex-porn star Scottine Ross.
At the center of the investigation are the recordings that were released by Radar Online and The National Enquirer, which laid out some very incriminating statements allegedly made by Sheen himself.
Rossi had said in her complaint Sheen did not tell her his status until after they had engaged in unprotected sex five times and she found his medication.
Rossi has previously accused Sheen in a civil suit of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false imprisonment and negligence for failing to disclose that he was HIV-positive during their engagement, which ended in 2014.
Metro.co.uk has contacted Charlie Sheen’s representatives for comment. Rossi asked authorities for an emergency protective order against Sheen, which was granted last week.
Unconfirmed reports from media outlets, including Variety magazine and RadarOnline.com, referred to an audio tape they said was at the centre of the investigation.
In November 2015, Sheen announced he was HIV-positive for the past four years and has been extorted for over $10 million to keep the information out of public knowledge.
“Ross reported that on several occasions Sheen had brandished firearms at her and threatened her life”.

When the woman confronted him about lying, asking why he didn’t tell her he was HIV-positive, he shouted, “Because it’s none of your f**king business, OK!”
