Jamie Vardy charged with improper conduct by Football Association
Jamie Vardy faces having his mandatory one-match ban lengthened, potentially ruling the striker out of more of Leicester’s title run-in, after he was charged Monday by the English Football Association over his angry reaction to a red card. In addition, Leicester City have also been charged with failing to control their players during the 83rd minute after a penalty was awarded to West Ham.

The charge is in relation to Vardy’s response to his dismissal in Sunday’s 2-2 draw against West Ham, where the striker received a second yellow after being adjudged to have dived in a bid to claim a penalty.
Vardy, meanwhile, is 16/1 to win next season’s Premier League golden boot, after 22 goals this time around have him hot on the heels of Harry Kane.
He has been a key part of Leicester’s title charge this season as they look to seal a maiden top-flight crown.
Vardy and Leicester have until 18:00 BST on Thursday to respond.
“But Leo (Ulloa, who scored the equaliser against West Ham with a stoppage-time penalty) came on and got a point for us – that was a lot of pressure for anyone. Never in my life have I spoken about referees”, Ranieri said.
“We are gutted, we did enough to win the game, before the last five seconds”.
Although Tottenham were looking at closing the gap to five points with a win at Stoke last night and Vardy will be suspended for next Sunday’s game against Swansea, Ranieri refused to dwell on the negatives and saluted the never-say-die spirit of his players.
“Always I believe we could fight back”.
It was reported the abuse from a certain section of the Leicester support started when Aaron Cresswell scored in the 86th minute to put West Ham 2-1 in front.
“We have a full squad”, he said in his pre-match press conference.
“I think, psychologically, that proved to the world how together we are”.

One of the fans Jack Loft tweeted, “Emenike is unquestionably one of the worst players I’ve seen play for West Ham”. “For us guys to get a point has shown that we’re going to keep fighting until the end”.
