Aurora Borealis is the handsome polar lights mostly visible in the arctic and Antarctic regions of Earth. This stunning footage from NASA of both the Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis is so electric to watch. Articles featured include reporting on world news, politics, finance, health, entertainment and technology.

The footage, which was taken in orbit aboard the International Space Station, shows Aurora Borealis, storms and cities. The latest video represents what exactly Northern Lights look like when they are seen by astronauts from the space.

A new 4K video shows the shimmering beauty of auroras as seen from space. The glorious lightshow occurs when charged electrons and protons are disturbed by the solar winds and collide with neutral particles, causing ionisation, which makes the sky glow. The different colors of the aurora represent the various molecules that are aglow.
