Sam Bradford mad about Eagles’ trade for No. 2
“Who wouldn’t be? This is Philly saying, “We don’t see [you] as [a] long-term answer.’ He’s mad and wants to show everyone who’s best”.

However, to Eagles Executive Vice President Howie Roseman, garnering an embarrassment of riches at the game’s most important spot makes for smart strategy.
“I learned a long time ago to stay away from all that stuff”, Bradford said.
It will be another week before the Eagles officially add another quarterback to the roster by using the second overall pick they acquired from the Browns on Wednesday, but Bradford has apparently made a decision to start paying attention.
The fact is that the Eagles have no reason for any great confidence in Bradford, who threw for a career-high 3,725 yards last season under former head coach Chip Kelly, with 19 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. “We’ve told Sam that”. He cashed an $11 million signing bonus from the Eagles this year and is due another $18 million this season. “We intend to support him, and the moves we made this offseason we believe will give us the chance to compete this season”.
But for now, Bradford is the Eagles’ starter.
Then Bradford went onto the field to practice for an organization that gave him a two-year, $36 million contract last month and is prepared to draft his likely replacement next week.
A horde of reporters clustered around his locker during a mid-day practice break to learn how he feels about Wentz, Goff or any quarterback the Eagles might take who could someday, sooner rather than later, become his replacement. “But if it doesn’t happen, there’s really no sense in wasting time or thought or energy on that”. Trading Bradford would allow the Eagles to make up for some of the draft picks they parted with in their trade to get up to No. 2.
Roseman did say Bradford, the No. 1 overall pick by the St. Louis Rams in the 2010 NFL Draft, will remain the team’s starter in 2016.
Sam Bradford is unconcerned about the Eagles’ reported interest in drafting a quarterback. Let’s assume the Eagles are taking Wentz, but if the Rams change their mind, it could be a fascinating night on April 28.

Dan Wetzel, Yahoo! Sports: “If there is one truism in the National Football League (other than don’t take draft advice from homeless people) it’s this: if you aren’t wholly convinced on a quarterback, don’t take him”.
