Mark Warburton hails Rangers Scottish Cup semi-final victory over Celtic
“I’ve got no concerns about them letting their emotions get the better of them in such a big atmosphere”. And, ignoring the comments from his Celtic counterpart, Warburton has put the weight of expectation on the Scottish champions.

The last meeting between the sides in February 2015 saw a total of 37 arrests. In Rangers’ absence, Celtic have dominated, taking four titles in a row and are on course to make it five this season, now leading the table by eight points with five games of the season remaining.
Deila, though, wants to return to the national stadium for the showpiece finale next month.
The Gers drew first blood in the 16th minute as former Celtic man Kenny Miller kept his composure inside the penalty area and slid the ball beyond Craig Gordon, after the Hoops had failed to deal with a free kick. We actually play Rangers on Wednesday at home in the league. We have experience of playing 11 against 10 and hopefully now we are going to play 11 against 11.
“It was a real rollercoaster of a football game”.
Rangers booked a place in the Scottish Cup final after a dramatic penalty shoot-out Sunday in an action-packed semifinal against Old Firm rival Celtic that ended 2-2 after extra-time at Hampden.
Already this season Warburton has steered the Light Blues to the Championship title and the Petrofac Cup.
“You don’t have to come here to understand that rivalry”, he said.
Foderingham said: “We knew he was going to go that way, and it was just a case of me choosing to go that way.
“We won the league quite comfortably and then we played really well in the cup final but we’ve had time to celebrate the last couple of results but now we’re focussed on Celtic”.Which players can you see earning cult-hero status on Sunday?”.
“It is a totally different thing to do something over 38 games than to do it over one”. That’s the character they showed, they’ll be a better team for that now.
Deila, however, is glad the long build-up to the match is nearing its end.
“I had a chat with Mark in the dressing room and I just said “let’s see how the final goes” and we might have to plan differently some of the player acquisitions in the close season”.

He added: “I’m delighted, listen outside, the fans were magnificent, the players were outstanding”.
