Ronaldo: “Goals are in my DNA”
“He [Navas] knows how I can hit the ball on free-kicks and he told me to hit it slowly and that’s what I did”, Ronaldo was quoted as saying by Real Madrid’s official website.

Cristiano Ronaldo rejected suggestions his performance against Wolfsburg was his best game despite scoring a hat-trick to send Real Madrid into the Champions League semi-finals.
But despite his side being on course to seal a memorable win, Zidane was clearly still feeling the pressure as the game approached its end which was exemplified by his passionate reaction to Real missing a chance to score in the 80th minute.
“We had to show our true team spirit, true character”.
Madrid hadn’t overturned a first-leg deficit in the Champions League in eight attempts stretching back 14 years to when Zidane played for Los Blancos in a quarter-final win over Bayern Munich. The supporters were incredible and we must thank them and say well done to them too.
Cristiano Ronaldo has poured scorn on his critics after blasting Real Madrid into the semi-finals for a sixth straight season.
“Just because I have scored three goals does not mean it’s my best game”.
“People can criticize me but I just keep on going and the numbers are there for all to see”, said Ronaldo. Zidane said. “He demonstrated who he is as a footballer and that is that he is the best player in the world”.
Having sprung a surprise in the first leg, the German outfit went into the game with a 2-0 lead, meaning the Merengues had it all to do under the lights at their famous stadium.
He has now struck 46 goals in all competitions this season, meaning he has 45 or more in each of his last six seasons for Madrid.
Arnold had scored one of Wolfsburg’s goals in the first leg at the Volkswagen Arena but felt his team paid the price for failing to get out of the starting blocks in the Spanish capital.
“I am always positive and I achieved something as a player with this philosophy”.

“I’m pleased with the three goals, but the most important thing is the team, and we played with intensity”.
