In addition to the Tanner’s, DJ’s former boyfriend, Steve, will return, and her best friend Kimmy Gibler will also be back as one of the main characters. Actresses Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) also return as series regulars. Online, Blake confirmed his role in the series on Instagram Tuesday night. Miami alum Eva LaRue tweeted the news on Monday.

When Netflix announced Fuller House they said that discussions with original cast members including Saget and the Olsen Twins were still ongoing.

The role of Mrs. Tanner was previously described as a 40-year-old “attractive, vivacious … and youthful” African-American woman who has “quite an appetite for Danny and isn’t afraid to shower him with affection”. The 13-episode run of “Fuller House” will debut in 2016.
