Search for missing Fort Myers Shores woman uncovers remains of second missing
While on a search for Chelsey Green, another body was discovered in Fort Myers this week. Rita Sue Zul disappeared in 1990 and neither her body nor her auto was ever found. Palm Beach Post reports that Zul was discovered inside a red sports vehicle that was at the bottom of a pond located in southwest Florida.

The vehicle in the pond, a red 1975 Datsun, belonged to Zul’s boyfriend, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
‘She was wonderful. She had a sense of humor and a personality I’ve never forgotten all these years, ‘ Duncan added.
Police have found the body of a waitress who went missing on her way home from a party 25 years ago.
After seeing the news, Dunlap, whose daughter and niece knew Green, decided to help out with the search.
“I told him I would be back and got a fishing pole and put a magnet on it”, Dunlap said.
A friend swam down and confirmed it was a auto, Dunlap said. She had called her mom at 10 p.m.to say she was going to a friend’s home, Dateline reported. The bar where she worked is no longer in operation.
The remains of a man missing for 43 years were recently discovered in a auto pulled from a North Carolina lake.
On Monday, Dunlap walked around the pond, looking for signs of any skid marks or oil slicks. No human remains were found inside.

Dunlap, the man who found Zul’s vehicle with a magnet, said he and some friends plan to start their own water search group called Team Closure.
