Interestingly, now that the warning has been issued to the community, there are now players who are looking at justifying the use of the cheat.
As for what players think Ubisoft should do, an article on Gamespot says that people have suggested punishing people who exploit future glitches and bugs.
“We are working on fixing the exploit”, he said. They could also go one further and get rid of the mobile cover ability, which can be used to wall-glitch through numerous barriers in the game and thus has been used in numerous most popular exploits and world-hacks. The next time that player would go down, they would automatically be revived, without any assistance (because the game thought you revived them twice, for some reason). However, some consoles players have mentioned that they can even stack up the third damage by 10x times; nevertheless, how it’s done. The fixes will mainly target the new Incursion mission, Falcon Lost, but will not affect the popular unlimited credits glitch, or the “Competent” glitch.
While the game still has its fair share of problems, especially when it comes to the PvP side of things, this patch did fix some of the more glaring problems.
Each mission focused on clearing a specific objective sure, but it presented players with a detailed and multi-room environment to navigate through while dealing with the enemy challenges presented in each area. You’re a little safer exploiting some games since they’re not connected to a server and community dependent.
Ubisoft is also giving away 500 phoenix credits to players who were effected by character disappearing bug or the notorious back pack bug.

This whole sequence of events showcases just how important proper quality assurance is, particularly in a game like The Division. However, the game doesn’t register that the loot has been claimed, meaning players can re-do it over and over again.
