Republican candidate Kasich passed over by ‘Time 100’
Mr Trump and Hillary Clinton steadied their campaigns on Tuesday, convincingly winning the New York Republican and Democratic primaries.

Campaigning is over, and now voters in Lower Manhattan have made their choice.
The Republican and Democratic contests head to the northeast states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island on Tuesday. “You have to be president to get on the wall”, answered Oyster House owner Louis Grippo. “Everyone in Pittsburgh is going to be a billionaire”, he riffed, seemingly mocking Trump. Bernie Sanders would stop in IN this week, but no details have been offered if that will happen.
“We are $19 trillion in debt”.
In Maryland, New Day for America, a super PAC supporting Kasich, is running a half a million dollar ad buy and has two offices.
“What I’m thinking – I mean, not literally, but figuratively – is if they didn’t have those lounges where people where just making them try to feel bad like they were going lose their job, their benefits, their pay and everything else, then it would be better”.
“People don’t like politicians who they don’t like”, he said. He is hoping to capture some delegates in Maryland’s primary next week to convince convention delegates to vote for him. “Further, he has a proven record of experience that is wholly unknown to Ted Cruz and Donald Trump”.
“If you don’t have ideas, you got nothing, and frankly my Republican Party doesn’t like ideas”, Governor Kasich said in an extended interview with The Washington Post’s editorial board published on Thursday. “Everybody says well shouldn’t the nominee be the person with the most plurality”.

“I told them I could win, and here’s who I am and ask me any question you want”, Kasich said. “I was always taught to believe neighbors matter”.
