RAMALLAH, Palestinian Territories – The Islamic militant group Hamas is praising a Palestinian as a “martyr” for carrying out a bus bombing that injured about 20 people in Jerusalem this week.

In Jenin, in the north of the occupied West Bank, the IOF kidnapped two Palestinians, identified as Kamal al-Almani, and Bara’ Ateyya, after stopping them at a roadblock.

The intelligence agency said it had undertaken a “lengthy intelligence effort” in order to help expose the terror group. The suspects are two minors, a 19-year-old soldier and others in their early 20s based in the West Bank settlement of Nahliel. The Shit Bed said the attack was an “inspiration” to the suspects. The phrases “death to Arabs” and “Jews wake up” were daubed on the walls of building. The cell’s exposure prevented a number of serious attacks that could have resulted in murder, the Shin Bet said.

And in December the suspects threw a tear gas grenade at another Palestinian home overnight in the village of Beitillou. Group members were connected to members of another ring of Jewish extremists recently apprehended and accused of a series of attacks on Palestinian and Christian targets, Shin Bet said.

“A disaster was avoided by a miracle” when one Molotov cocktail rebounded off a window, the police statement said.

“There is no doubt that this was a terror attack”, Jerusalem police commissioner Yoram Halevy said.

More than 200 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers since October and almost 30 Israelis have been killed in Palestinian attacks.
