Acer’s Skylake-powered Chromebook 14 for Work is its fastest ever
Acer also announced its Liquid Zest Plus smartphone at the event, with ST Lew, president of the smartphone business group at Acer, noting that the smartphone industry has gone through a “tumultuous” past two years. The Aspire R 15 runs on Windows 10 and features 2×2 MU-MIMO WiFi connectivity, Dolby audio and battery life of up to 9 hours.

Taiwanese PC manufacturer Acer Inc has just launched its latest Chromebook 14 for Work, and the company is saying that it’s the fastest Chromebook it has ever made. The new device also offers “military standard” durability, with a spill-resistant keyboard and a body that can withstand drops of up to four feet, according to Acer.
The Chromebook 14 for Work comes with USB 3.0 Type-C connection along with USB 3.0 ports, SD card slot and HDMI output, the Chromebook 14 for Work comes with full desktop solution with the optional docking port with a single cable for additional displays, speakers and up to five more USB devices which is quite impressive for a Laptop.
“Our commercial customers have an abundance of reasons to choose the new Acer Chromebook 14 for Work”, said Jerry Hou, general manager of commercial & detachable notebooks at Acer. Acer will also offer models with standard or backlit keyboards. However, the Chromebook 14 isn’t here to catch your eye with a flashy or unique aesthetic. The Acer Aspire R 15 The redesigned Aspire R15 is a 15-inch, 360-degree convertible that can be configured with a range of 6 -generation Intel Core processors, up to 12GB of DDR4 memory and graphics processors up to the Nvidia GeForce 940MX. Acer isn’t kidding when it says that you can take this to work with you. The company is also the top Chromebook vendor in the global market.

Acer has rolled out its most powerful Chromebook to date, claiming the cloud-based laptop can meet the needs of enterprises, governments and small businesses.
