Heavy rainfall likely in Odisha till Wednesday
The weather department on Sunday issued warning of “heavy to very heavy rainfall” in parts of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat over the next 48 hours even as it predicted heavy downpours in Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal on Tuesday and Wednesday. Other places with prominent rain figures were Kadana (dist Panchmahal) 12 cm, Dhanera (dist Banaskantha) 11 cm, Talod (dist Sabarkantha) 11 cm, Tharad (dist Banaskantha) 11 cm, Gandhinagar (dist Gandhinagar) 10 cm, Umerpada (dist Surat) 10 cm, Mahesana (dist Mehsana) 10 cm, Radhanpur (dist Patan) 9 cm and Umrala (dist Bhavnagar) 9 cm.

The Met Office warned that parts of Gujarat and the territories of Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli are likely to receive “heavy to very heavy rainfall” between today and last Friday.
