Rounding out the Peabody Awards’ latest batch of winners are: Lifetime’s UnREAL, Netflix’s Master of None, Marvel’s Jessica Jones and Beasts of No Nation, Amazon’s Transparent, PBS’ Wolf Hall and Sundance’s Deutschland 83. The series, which is based on a Marvel comic series for mature audiences, is part of a collaboration with Netflix that is bringing five Marvel comics to life for the streaming giant.

Now in its 75th year, the Peabody Awards honor the best in American media, drawing from a pool of approximately 1,000 entries.

The Peabody Awards announced the winners of the entertainment and children’s program categories, with Netflix hauling in three honorees.

In praising “Jessica Jones”, the Peabody judges said the show “asks unpopular questions about power and consent, while constructing vivid and compelling characters”.

Jessica Jones has been greenlit for a second season, and Krysten Ritter will reprise her role as the character in The Defenders.
