The Obamas are dining with the royals at Kensington Palace today, and though we were fully prepared for the lovely photos of our favorite power couples, we weren’t ready for the sugary sweet photos of President Obama meeting Prince George.

London, April 22: President Obama has called on the British people not to vote for an exit from the EU, writing in an opinion article published upon his arrival in London last night that “the European Union doesn’t moderate British influence – it magnifies it”. Obama flew to the Queen’s castle to wish the world’s oldest monarch, who had turned 90 on Thursday.
Obama referred to a secret concert Prince gave in 2015 which was billed as a “private party for friends and family” of the president and first lady.
Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with Prince Harry, are scheduled to host the Obamas for dinner at Kensington Palace.
Newly-weds William and Kate greeted the Obamas in the 1844 room of Buckingham Palace at the start of the USA state visit to the UK.
Obama said his aide’s one request was to accompany him to Windsor, if he ever went, on the slight chance that she could get to see the queen.
In the article, Obama responded directly to that criticism, asserting that the challenges facing Europe are not different from the ones facing the US.
The only president since Truman that she has not met was Lyndon B. Johnson. After chatting briefly, they climbed into the queen’s Range Rover and the 94-year-old Philip drove them to the royal residence for a private lunch.
Obama travelled to Britain after a series of meetings in Saudi Arabia, where he said yesterday that the USA would continue to enhance security cooperation with its allies in the Persian Gulf, while encouraging them to carry out domestic reforms.
A palace spokesman at the time described the scene at the ladies’ first meeting as a “mutual and spontaneous display of affection”.
USA media accompanying the American leader were heard remarking in disbelief “Is Obama driving?” – forgetting that United Kingdom drivers sit on the right-hand side, not the left.
They formed a strong friendship, bonding over a shared interest in the countryside, gardening and clothes.
As they said goodbye at the end of the visit in 2009, the Queen was overheard asking Mrs Obama: “Now we have met, would you please keep in touch?”
