Republican Party leaders have turned aside an effort to change the rules at the party’s upcoming national convention to make it harder for the GOP to nominate a fresh presidential candidate.

You might have noticed something different about Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump lately.

Trump is increasingly optimistic about his chances in five states set to vote on Tuesday: Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.
