Felt like crying when asked to prove my patriotism, says SRK

While Shah Rukh as the egoistical and arrogant larger-than-life film star plays his usual self, he has completely moulded himself into the garb of a fan.

You get to see his superstar ego, but also the family man with responsibilities.

The actor, who is known as “King Khan” to his legions of loyal fans, met the royal couple on Sunday at an evening celebrating India’s film industry during their stop in Mumbai on their royal tour. The score perfectly fits with the action and the intense sequences shown in the film. Khan plays Aryan Khanna the superstar as well as Gaurav Chandna, his loyal and ardent fan.Made on a budget of Rs 105 crore, the film released in 3500 screens all over India along with 1100 screens overseas. So there’s an important scene in the film and it’s also placed in London’s Madame Tussauds museum.

When asked if he had ever met his lookalike in person, he said many fans often dressed like him. I started working at a very young age. “So, if people of his generation are disappointed with the film, then it won’t work”, he said.

“Lovingly stardom has hit me, it has caressed me a lot”. Instead, he writes an ending that will shock you, guilt you and leave you conflicted about who to root for- and that in itself tells you enough about the brilliance of this movie. I had no option but to finish them as soon as I could. Khan has 19 million followers on Twitter and said he reads 90 percent of the content directed at him. But throughout the time that I was auditioning, I didn’t know what the film was about, what was the plot.

It is enough to give goose bumps to his fans when SRK arrive on any damn show and when there is Krushna Abhishek and Bharthi Singh, it would be like “Sone Pe Suhaaga”.

“It requires special writing”.

“I do think that Hollywood films would take over the Indian market if we don’t change our technology and our style of storytelling. So we need writers and screenplay writers for an animation, I think from the West”, he said. We have some very talented actors, some great producers and some talented technicians, but now that India is exposed to worldwide cinema, we need to pull up our socks.
