The rain is already on going this morning and will remain steady through about noon.

The cold front that has kept rain around the past few days has finally moved through, leaving the Mid-South with light northwesterly winds and mostly sunny skies for today.

Temperatures are predicted to rise on Monday, approaching 10 degrees Celsius above seasonal average accompanied with hot and dry skies.

The weekend will be mostly sunny, but there is a slight chance of showers Sunday night.

A new disturbance will arrive by Sunday afternoon giving us a decent shot at scattered showers and storms once again. Our next chance for rain returns Wednesday. Monday will likely be the warmest day of the week with clouds increasing and temperatures climbing into the low 80s.
