We’re tracking the potential for severe weather by the middle of next week. Highs in the mid to upper 50s inland, but only reaching upper 40s along the lakefront. The relative humidity was between 10% and 20%! South wind around 10 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 15 miles per hour.

A high risk of rip currents at all South Florida beaches remains in effect through this evening. Thursday will bring a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms and highs in the lower 80s. The normal high for April 20 is 63 degrees. Very light winds and clear skies. There could be a touch of frost in some locations toward dawn.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Despite the cloud cover overhead and the moisture around, high temperatures will remain fairly seasonal. So some sunshine this morning before clouds race back in today. We’ll then dry out and cool off to close the period. Temperatures and humidity levels will also be on the rise. Plus, the humidity will become more noticeable. Lows will be in the mid 60s. In fact, there should be greater coverage tomorrow versus today with the cold front nearby.
Saturday: Mostly sunny and mild.
Sunday is looking good too! Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. Low near: 38. High near: 60.
Minor showers may continue all evening following the rain, however these timeframes represent the periods of expected heaviest rainfall. So we warm near 70 degrees as a result.
Thursday will be in the mid-60s with mostly cloudy skies and a chance of rain. Storms could develop this afternoon west river – moving into the Missouri valley overnight.
