Doctor in Uber driver attack video fired from Miami hospital
The hospital offered me this curt statement: “Jackson Health System is moving forward with the termination of Dr. Anjali Ramkissoon, a resident doctor”.

Anjali Ramkissoon, 30, who struck and cursed out the Uber driver in a video that was posted in January, was initially placed on administrative leave and “removed from all clinical duties”.
The driver has so far opted to remain anonymous and has declined to press charges. “Yeah, get in the (expletive) in auto!” He later uploaded the clip to YouTube. CBS Miami reports a man, Juan Cinco, called for an Uber driver and when the vehicle arrived, Ramkissoon jumped in the back seat.
The video shows a scuffle between the two, with Ramkissoon hitting the driver.
Ramkissoon got up, got into the Uber vehicle and began throwing items, which included a scissors and his cellphone, out of his auto and into the street. “Get the f-k in this vehicle you f–g piece of s-t!” she screamed in the five-minute clip. Ramkissoon yelled at the driver.
At one point she hurls a pair of scissors that lands just inches away from Mr Cinco. Yeah. I bet they won’t.
“I have lost my mind!” she yelled at gawking passersby.
The administrative leave lasted until Friday, when she was sacked.
He continued: ‘Once in handcuffs, she then tried kicking some of the police officers on the scene. After the driver left the auto, the doctor continues to yell at him saying “Get in the f*****g vehicle”.
Ramkissoon has been very public about her apology since the video surfaced, appearing on Good Morning America after her suspension to share her side of the story and help salvage her tarnished reputation.
“There’s absolutely no excuse for my actions”, she said on the morning program.
“I did it and I’m ashamed of what I did, and this would never happen again”, she said. “I’ve hurt so many people”. The driver is heard repeatedly saying, “Call 911”.
