Actor/Director Charged With Possession Of Child Porn, Westchester DA
Law & Order director Jason “Jace” Alexander was arrested Wednesday in New York on child porn charges, reported by the Westchester County District Attorney.

In addition to directing 32 episodes of Law & Order, Alexander is the Second Vice-President of the Director’s Guild of America and is credited for 18 episodes of Rescue Me. Now, however, he’s become entangled in the real-life legal system after being arrested for alleged possession of child pornography.
According to the D.A.’s office, Alexander, of Dobbs Ferry, New York, has been charged with one count of promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony, and one count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.
Alexander, 51, of Bellair Drive in Dobbs Ferry, was taken into custody after an investigation by the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office allegedly traced child pornography to a computer in his home, authorities said. It was later found to be from Alexander’s home, officials say. He faces up to seven years in state prison if convicted.

Bail was set at $10,000 cash. He is scheduled to appear in court again November. 19. He’s also acted in several roles for television and TV movies, and was a co-executive producer on NBC’s Blacklist for 16 episodes between 2013 and 2014. They have two kids, 11-year-old twin boys.
