Google Releases Search Ads To Help Developers Improve App Discovery
However, Google is not providing more detailed data to them. The option will only be available to those developers who are already running Search app install campaigns on AdWords.

The apps request entry to settings like stopping the system from sleeping, modifying and deleting reminiscence and monitoring user location, which are sometimes pointless for the app’s purported perform, in line with the research launched by advert fraud detection agency Forensiq. But we can expect it to go Global for everyone soon.
“Google Play reaches more than 1 billion people on Android devices in more than 190 countries”, Google said in its blog post about the launch.
The ads are triggered off keyword searches, so if you are looking for a game related app, game ads will appear to drive app installs – essentially sponsored apps in Google Play.
Google is also making changes to the Universal App Campaigns so it is easier for advertisers to advertise and promote their apps not only on Google Play, but also across all Google properties, including Search, YouTube, AdMob in app network and the Google Display Network. The ads will be promoting Google Play content, so at least they’ll blend in.
This tracking will work across Search, Display and YouTube, and developers can compare the conversion data with that from third-party measurement tools to get a better sense of how many ad clicks are actually leading to a consumer downloading and opening their apps.
To ensure data consistency and give developers the freedom to use reporting and optimization features across AdWords and third-party solutions of their choice, Google is working with key partners like Tune, AppsFlyer, Kochava, Adjust and Apsalar.
Google will also be rolling out Universal App Campaigns, which was first announced at Google I/O this spring. So if you’re the type of person who wants their coffee without a lot of noise, you’re best going early in the week.
