Antigo Police Chief Eric Roller says in a statement that the shooter “showed up” Saturday night at Antigo High School and started firing at two people outside the building.

“Officers were in the parking lot patrolling the activities and heard the shots”.

Police have arrested a suspect, who also has been hospitalized, Roller said in a press conference.

The emergency room director at Aspirus Langlade Hospital confirmed the facility treated three patients.

Two were moved to another hospital and the third was discharged on Sunday.

“We were able to escort them out of here safely and they’ve all been returned to their families”, Roller said.

Identities of the victims and the shooter were not immediately available.
