Man United boss targets another four wins following Crystal Palace victory
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has indicated that Wayne Rooney is likely to continue in the midfield for their upcoming clash against Everton in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on 23 April.

Darmian’s cross led to the own goal from Damien Delaney which gave United a 1-0 lead, then the Italian defender struck a powerful shot to complete a comfortable 2-0 win against a poor Palace team.
The win piles pressure on Arsenal who are just one point ahead of United in fourth place, the final Champions League spot.
Supporters have had to contend with van Gaal’s negative style of play for too long and it would be hard to imagine the club sticking with him for another season.
This is a battle of two teams on opposite ends of the table, but both are still trying to get wins as they attempt to close out the season strong. “We have created a lot of chances in the first half and the second half and we didn’t give any away, maybe one to Adebayor in the first half and that was it so I am very pleased”.
The Italian has been poor since August but impressed at left-back against Palace, who understandably played like a team disinterested by a Premier League game four days before an FA Cup semi-final. And thanks to a big 4-0 win against Everton, Liverpool moves to the 7th place.
“It’s the first time to play there for me so I’m really proud and it’s a big game”, the 26-year-old told reporters.
England and United captain Rooney played for 67 minutes against Aston Villa last Saturday in his first start since recovering from a knee injury. They might wait until I make a mistake in a game or something, and they’ll come out with something like “that” s why you got sold’. “We were in the quarterfinals, now we are in the semifinals, I believe, that means we are better than past year”. All the same, a semi-final at Wembley can not be taken lightly, and with Everton in disarray following a costly defeat in the Merseyside derby, United must be favourites to reach the final.
He said: “This game against Crystal Palace is very important”.
