Casiraghi is the son of Princess Caroline of Monaco (daughter of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III) and Italian businessman Stefano Casiraghi, who was killed in a boating accident in 1990.

Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo began dating in 2008, when the two were university students in Italy. It would come as no surprise then if the Italian beauty chose to go with the same fashion house for her big day.

5. She’s going all out for her Royal Wedding. Despite the royal setting – held in the gardens of the Grimaldi palace – the gathering was relatively informal, with the groom reportedly keen to host a picnic-style lunch to reflect his upbringing in Provence with mother Princess Caroline and siblings Charlotte and Andrea Casiraghi. The long pink-and-gold lace silk chiffon cape dress was designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli and it is a customized version of the label’s spring 2015 collection , WWD reported. Borromeo’s uncle, Count Matteo Marzotto, is also the former president and director of the house.

According to reports, a religious ceremony is expected to take place August 1 in Italy, on the Lake Maggiore, on one of the islands owned by the Borromeo family.

Given her numerous dress changes, fashionistas and royal watchers can expect to see Beatrice in at least two gowns at her religious wedding.

In the evening the bride once again turned to Valentino for another show-stopping bridal look as she arrived for the evening party at Monaco’s five-star Hôtel de Paris.
