Curry injured again as Warriors rout Rockets 121-94
Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry jogs off the court at the end of the first half in Game 4 of a first-round NBA basketball playoff series, Sunday against the Houston Rockets, April 24, 2016, in Houston.

Curry played a couple of games of 3-on-3 during practice Friday to test his ankle.
Curry scored just six points on two-of-nine shooting in the first half, missing six of seven three-shot attempts while turning the ball over five times. Forward Donatas Motiejunas, who didn’t start Game 1 and played only 15 minutes in Game 2, had his best game of the series Thursday night with 14 points and 13 rebounds in 31 minutes.
Thompson and Green combined to score 25 of the Warriors’ 41 third-quarter points as they inflicted most of the damage from the perimeter.
“It’s about how we play and how they responded”, he said. The Warriors were very clear that they were taking a cautious approach with Curry after severe ankle problems limited him early in his career, but there were no signs that Curry was rushing back coming into the game.
Curry, who missed the previous two games in the Western Conference first-round series after spraining his right ankle in the opener, is scheduled to have an MRI scan on his right knee on Monday, Kerr said during a post-game news conference. The Warriors, fortunately, are playing the Houston Rockets, who aren’t so much bad as sort of spaced-out, and went on to stomp ’em but good.
However, the review of the officials could not change the result of the game and the Warriors-Rockets playoff series is now 2-1. It really is. And players are constantly testing the limits of what they can get away with on every team, and the officials are doing the best they can.
“I thought we were a little disjointed at times, mostly due to their pressure and physical toughness”, coach Gregg Popovich said. “Don’t ask me that no more, man. Because it ain’t cool and you ain’t getting the statement you want out of me”.
Soon after half of the vaunted Splash Brothers dejectedly limped to the locker room, the other one kept the 3-pointers raining down.

“If I would have got the green light I definitely would have played and felt confident there”. Green had seven turnovers, including the one that cost the Warriors a final shot at the win….
