AMC will show the 1984 film starring Prince at 87 locations, including two in Pennsylvania, Saturday through Thursday. He sold more than 100 million records during his career.

Authorities wouldn’t comment on whether the incident was drug related, stating it was too early in the investigation to speculate. Minnesota lawmakers gave police agencies the right to carry it since they are often first responders.

They discovered Prince’s lifeless body in the lift of the property. The star was last seen by an acquaintance that dropped him off at the Paisley Park estate on Wednesday night around 8 pm, Olson said.

Prince’s sister, Tyka Nelson, and brother-in-law, Maurice D. Stroud, arrived in cars at Paisley Park for the service.

Yvette Noel-Schure, Prince’s publicist, said the “final storage” of his remains would remain private.

Prince was alone at his Paisley Park estate when he was found unresponsive Thursday morning, according to Carver County officials. The caller told the operator: “We’re at Prince’s house… people are just distraught”. As one of the most gifted and prolific musicians of our time, Prince did it all. On Thursday, a report released by TMZ said that Prince was treated for an opiate overdose. The site said his plane made an emergency landing April 15 in Moline, Illinois, where he was briefly hospitalized.

Obama has always been a fan of the musician, who died yesterday at the age of 57.

“Our detectives are now working on this case”, said Olson, noting that it was only 29 hours since the singer died.

“We ask for your blessings and prayers of comfort for his family and close friends at this time”, the statement said. She says she tried to copy what he did to stay fit.

Dr. A. Quinn Strobl, chief medical examiner for the Midwest Medical Examiner’s office, performed the autopsy.

Male caller: Paisley Park, we are at Paisley Park.

Prince’s body has been released to his family.

A week earlier, the singer had canceled concerts in Atlanta because he wasn’t feeling well. It began at 9 a.m. on behalf of the Carver County Sheriff’s Office and was completed by 1 p.m. Anything which could be relevant to the investigation will be taken into consideration.

Olson confirmed that Prince’s staff were unable to reach Prince Friday morning, and went to Prince’s compound.

Prince previously had spoken about struggling with childhood epilepsy and friends said he had hip trouble.

Prince’s death came two weeks after he canceled concerts in Atlanta, saying he wasn’t feeling well.

Mr Olson and a medical examiner refused to discuss whether any prescription drugs were found in Prince’s home after his death. “Gathering the results will take several days and the results of a full toxicology scan could likely take weeks”. “We’re gonna continue to respect his privacy and his dignity and hope that you do as well…”

Emergency crews who answered the 911 call could not revive Prince, the sheriff said.

The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office in Ramsey, Minnesota, tweeted that it will perform the autopsy Friday.

After treatment there for what aides said was the flu, Prince tweeted, “I am transformed”. They say CPR failed.
