Warner Bros. has finally confirmed they are working on a Batman solo movie with Ben Affleck. And unfortunately for the latter, there will be yet another solo Batman movie, with Ben Affleck directing the said movie himself. During his briefing, Tsujihara said that there were atleast ten movies scheduled to be released till 2020.
It’s not clear at this time when the new standalone Batman movie will be released, but it’s all part of the massive DC Comics universe that Warner Bros is now developing.
Tsujihara made the announcement after praising the current directors on their own DC Comics projects.

Indeed, the studio’s interest in fast-tracking an Affleck-led Batman movie makes flawless sense given that solo Batman movies were a billion-dollar business when Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale headlined the franchise in the previous decade.
Along with stand-alone films for Batman and Wonder Woman, Justice League Parts One and Two are also in the works, with Zack Snyder set to direct.

Suicide Squad director David Ayer, as well as castmembers including Jared Leto, Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Joel Kinnaman were also on-stage for a segment in which the new trailer for the film was shown. Over the past decade, he has helmed such critically acclaimed pictures as Gone Baby Gone, The Town and Best Picture victor Argo. There’s not an official date for the Batman film yet, but there’s already speculation that it’ll take one of the two slots Warner Bros. recently reserved for untitled DC films-October 5, 2018 or November 1, 2019.
