Eagles QB Bradford demanding trade as Philadelphia could pick Wentz or Goff
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news, adding Bradford won’t be attending any additional sessions in the team’s offseason program. That move assured the Eagles one of the top two quarterbacks in the 2016 draft: Cal’s Jared Goff or Carson Wentz from North Dakota State.

Bradford signed a two-year, $35 million contract with the Eagles on March 1, a deal that included an $11 million signing bonus and $22 million of guaranteed money.
A trade seems like the best course of action for both parties.
Bradford, according to acting personnel boss Howie Roseman, remained entrenched as the starter even last week when the Eagles parted with a package of draft picks, including a first-rounder in 2017 and a second-rounder in 2018. The trade will likely cost the Jets a third round to fourth pick and still put them in a situation where they could move back from the #20 selection and regain that pick later in the draft, costing them basically nothing for Bradford.
Bradford’s injury history is concerning, particularly his twice-torn left ACL, but since he held up for 14 games in 2015 and showed promise toward the end of the year, there should be a decent trade market for him. Of the teams listed above only the 49ers and Browns have enough space to take on Bradford’s $12.5 million hit next season.

The Eagles also have well-thought of backup Chase Daniel on their roster, after they signed him to a three-year, $21 million contract this off-season. But nothing is certain by any stretch of the imagination.
