Conor McGregor a no-show, and off of UFC200

Dana White and the UFC brass appear to be the only ones dead set against McGregor-Diaz II.

From all accounts, White was standing firm and not allowing McGregor to fight on the card as punishment for refusing to engage in the promotional activities for UFC 200.

“People (other fighters on the card) came from Poland and Brazil”. “I’m not real interested in anyone else”.

However, McGregor – who lost his first UFC bout against American Diaz in March – has taken to social media again to say: “Happy to announce that I am BACK on UFC 200!” However, White and UFC stuck with McGregor even with his shocking loss to Nate Diaz last month.

Diaz was asked about that tweet during the presser and succinctly stated “Conor got his ass beat”. You know I do. They’re here. It’s part of the job.

Conor McGregor was stunned by Nate Diaz in their UFC 196 match, leaving him wanting for a rematch.

The Irishman wrote on Twitter during the press conference: “Everyone flew in”. White said he gave McGregor every opportunity to come out to Las Vegas this week for the press event and he still refused to show.

“I’ve been dodging all this for years and I’ve been in trouble for it. It’s all good with me”. Let him do his thing, get his train on and get ready to fight.

In a tweet sent early Monday morning, the fighter thanked UFC President Dana White for arranging his return to the July 7 fight bill that he had previously been dropped from.

While the world wants to see McGregor vs Diaz II we must prepare for that not happening either. McGregor was away training in Iceland at the time. MacDonald explained that McGregor is making a stand for all fighters under the organization and that as new in the sport, they could learn something from the word war. I don’t have any interest in fighting at all. “I feel the $400million I have generated for the company in my last three events, all inside 8 months, is enough to get me this slight leeway”. “We’re announcing what we have so far, but UFC 200 is still a work in progress”.
