The Republican presidential frontrunner has agreed to a sit-down interview with Kelly that will air during a Fox special on May 17, the network announced Monday.

Now, Kelly will sit down with The Donald for what appears to be a highly anticipated interview, and according to the Post, “nothing will be off limits” for her to ask him.
Discussing the meeting that night on The Kelly File, the FNC anchor said that “The meeting was at my request, and Mr. Trump was gracious enough to agree to it. We met for about an hour, just the two of us, and had a chance to clear the air”.
The interview will air on May 17 as part of Megyn Kelly Presents, Kelly’s recently announced debut primetime special for Fox.
Quipping that the doormen at Trump Tower “were surprised to see me”, Kelly said on her show at the time that she discussed “the possibility of an interview” with Trump, adding ‘I hope we will have news to announce soon’.
It will mark Kelly’s first interview with Trump since the fallout from their encounter during a Fox News Channel debate in August. I’ve been very nice to you, although I could probably maybe not be, based on the way you have treated me.
Kelly and Trump’s second debate go-around, in March, proved far milder than the initial Republican debate that aired on Fox News last August.

Kelly asked him why he called women “fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals”.
Fox News criticized Trump for having a “sick obsession” about Kelly and engaging in conduct unbecoming of a presidential candidate.
FOX News Chairman & CEO Roger Ailes is the show’s senior executive producer, while broadcast veteran Bill Geddie serves as the executive producer.

In addition to the Trump interview, “Megyn Kelly Presents” will feature a wide variety of notable guests from the entertainment world and other spheres of human interest to be interviewed by Kelly.
