Prince’s Body Cremated After Being Released to Family
Officials will perform an autopsy on Prince on Friday, one day after the music legend was found dead in an elevator of his Paisley Park compound, just outside Minneapolis.

There were no obvious signs of trauma to his body or anything that would imply his death was a suicide, Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson said Friday.
According to the Sheriffs Office, the last time Prince was seen alive was about 8 p.m. Wednesday night at Paisley Park.
“Staff members from Paisley Park had been unable to contact Prince yesterday morning and went to check on him”, he said. Authorities found Prince unresponsive in an elevator and found noone else in the residence at the time.
“To you, Prince was a celebrity”, Olsen said.
Speaking at the Foreign Office in a joint press conference with David Cameron, the United States president said: “I love Prince because he put out great music and he was a great performer”.
Spokeswoman Martha Weaver says she expects the process will take days or even weeks for tests to be completed.
Born in a musical family in Minnesota, Prince wrote his first tune when he was barely seven.
“There have been so many rumors I’ve read about”, Olson said. The Chief Medical Examiner for Midwest Medical Examiners Office, Dr. A. Quinn Strobl, began the autopsy Friday morning.
Sheriff Jim Olsen held a press conference today in Carver County, Minn., to discuss the ongoing investigation surrounding the pop icon’s passing.
Meanwhile, fans gathering to pay their respects outside his Paisley Park pad on Thursday evening were briefly joined by Prince’s sister, Tyka Nelson.
She also thanked members of the media and the public for respecting the privacy of Prince’s family and close friends. He was pronounced deceased at 10:07.
The caller, noticeably shaken, said, “We’re at Prince’s house”. “We still have a handful of his CDs left but, honestly, I’m not really expecting those to make it through the weekend”, Zero said. The sheriff reassured reporters that the investigation will be incredibly thorough. It remains unclear whether his seizures continued into adulthood or if the disease was a factor in his death.

Questions have now been raised about whether the iconic singer hid health problems from fans after a series of cancelled shows and a reported emergency plane landing for medical treatment. The investigation to determine the cause of death is still on as the autopsy is scheduled to be done on April 22, Friday.
