Meizu M3 Now Official: Great Features, Low Price

Having said these technical specifications, we can definitely look upon M3 as a powerful contender for most of the Chinese smartphone companies including Xiaomi.

The M3 is the successor to the Meizu M2 and has several similarities with a few improved specifications. The Meizu M3, the successor for the Meizu M2 that was launched previous year in China and India. At 141.5 x 69.5 x 8.3mm, it’s a little thinner though, and still packs in a larger 2,870mAh battery (2,500mAh in the m2).

The Meizu M3 handset is available in varied color options, including White, Gold, Grey and Pink color variants, states NDTV. It’s announced yesterday with a surprising price at $93 targeting at budget smartphone customers. The dual-SIM Handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating system, with the custom Flyme 5 OS on the Top. Owing to the new chipset, m3 comes with a support for LTE over a number of bands. Additional connectivity options supported by the Meizu m3 are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS with Glonass, and Bluetooth 4.0.

It accommodates 13MP camera at the rear with features like f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, and phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and 5MP camera at the front with f/2.0 aperture for clicking selfies and for video calling. There are two variants, one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and the other with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The phone screen display at 5.5 inches with 720p resolution. In addition to that, we have a 5 megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture.

The smartphone comes in 16GB and 32GB inbuilt storage variants.

The Meizu M3 comes in a dual-SIM configuration with a hybrid SIM setup, which lets you expand the storage via a microSD card slot. The battery capacity features at 2870mAh.
