From May 1-15, Xbox 360 owners can download GRID 2, the racing sim from Codemasters, while EA’s puzzle game Peggle is free from May 16-31. The leak revealed that Xbox Live Gold members could look forward to a somewhat tame lineup in comparison to April’s lineup.

Earlier today, the May lineup for Microsoft’s Games with Gold program leaked ahead of its official announcement. This month’s offering may not be very big on the triple-A front, but we can hardly complain, Microsoft’s been spoiling us for choice over the last couple of months.
Games with Gold keeps going strong in May with four entertaining new games.
May brings Defense Grid 2, a tower defense gem from the folks at Hidden Path Entertainment & 505 Games – followed by the quirky and endlessly charming, Costume Quest 2 from Double Fine Productions and Majesco. He has also confirmed that the two Xbox 360 games will also be playable on the Xbox One, thanks to backwards compatibility.

We can’t say for sure whether this leak is correct, but given the pattern that is occurring each month – we wouldn’t be surprised.
