This month’s offering may not be very big on the triple-A front, but we can hardly complain, Microsoft’s been spoiling us for choice over the last couple of months.
The Xbox Live Games with Gold free games for May 2016 are: Defense Grid 2 and Costume Quest 2 for Xbox One, and GRID 2 and Peggle for Xbox 360. Hidden Path’s tower defence title Defense Grid 2 (May 1-31) will be followed by Double Fine’s Costume Quest 2 (May 16-June 15).

Games with Gold keeps going strong in May with four entertaining new games. If this rumor proves to be true, then Defense Grid 2 might be one of the Xbox One games to be made available as free to Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
