This adapter gives the 30-year-old NES wireless controllers
Admit it: You’ve thought about digging the original Nintendo out of the box in your attic and plugging it into your entertainment center for a round of Dr. Mario or Contra.

The adapter is only $19 and was made possible through a partnership between 8bitdo and Analogue, the latter of which offers that insane 24k gold NES. 8BITDO and Analogue are prime examples that are working to spread some NES love.
Of course, if you’re not an NES purist, for that kind of money you could also buy a PlayStation 4, Wii U, or Xbox One. The package includes a receiver and a USB cable.
Why this matters: The receiver might not be all you need to bring your Nintendo into a modern living room.
Dubbed the Retro Receiver, the $20 accessory acts as a Bluetooth receiver, letting you connect wireless controllers to the original Nintendo or AnalogueNT without any internal modification. The official website is listing Play Asia as the retailer, though at the time of writing there’s no listing for it as yet – one to watch out for.

The Retro Receiver is a Bluetooth dongle; it enables 8Bitdo controllers to connect to the NES wirelessly and also allows the use of PS3, PS4, Wii remote and Wii U Pro controllers.
