Hillary Clinton playing woman card ‘left and right’
Bernie Sanders that helped the former secretary of state claim a narrow statewide win over her rival in Tuesday’s presidential primary, while local Republicans were out of step with the landslide billionaire businessman Donald Trump scored across the state, instead backing Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

“I think the only card she has is the women’s card”, Trump said a short while later in NY.
Cruz says, “I think my campaign team, after I messed up the reference to ‘Hoosiers, ‘ I think they wanted me to run laps”.
Clinton won 59.7 percent in DE, 63.4 percent in Maryland, 56.6 percent in Pennsylvania and 51 percent in CT, while Sanders won with 57.7 percent in Rhode Island, according to state election officials. They will argue that upcoming primaries will be more favorable to Sanders because they will be open to Independents, like in Rhode Island, where he won Tuesday.
In fact, in Rhode Island and DE his vote percentage was more than 60 per cent. In Pennsylvania it was more than 58 per cent, in CT 59 per cent and Maryland 56 per cent.
“As Hillary Clinton has said, loose cannons tend to misfire”, the memo said. “All five. And not only is it all five”, Trump said at a news conference at Trump Tower in NY.
Projecting confidence, Trump said it was time for Cruz and Kasich to get out of the race so the party can unify behind him. “If she were a man, I doubt she’d have more than 5 percent of the vote”. He was headed to Indiana Wednesday after delivering a foreign policy speech in Washington.
Trump also tried to pivot toward a general election, although his attack on Clinton seemed more improvised that Clinton’s bumper-sticker-ready attack on him. In the general election matchup, women sided with her by a 42-point margin, 57 percent to 15 percent.
A loss to Trump in IN would effectively cripple Cruz’s already faltering bid, and increase pressure on the party to rally around Trump as the prospective nominee.
In exit polls conducted in Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Maryland, less than a fifth of Democratic voters said they would not support Clinton if she gets the nomination.
Trump also had words for actress Lena Dunham, who said she would move to Vancouver if Trump is elected.
“This is a lot bigger win than we would have expected”.
What’s more, Trump is now the only Republican still in the race who can reach a majority of delegates (that’s the 1,237 number) on the first ballot at the convention. To even keep his flame flickering, Cruz must overtake Trump in IN next week and forge a miraculous late-inning comeback. Tuesday morning the Sanders’ campaign sent out a fundraising letter featuring a photo of Trump and Clinton together.
“Well, if fighting for women’s healthcare and paid family leave and equal pay is playing the woman card, then deal me in”, she told cheering supporters in Philadelphia.

“Super Tuesday 3” – another key day of primaries that saw five states in the northeastern USA heading to the polls – drew to a close with two figures casting their shadows over their opponents. He’s vowing to stay in the race through the last primary contest in June. “And the idea that we should not contest in California – our largest state, let the people of California determine what the agenda of the Democratic Party is and who the candidate for president should be – is pretty insane”.
