Woman ‘walks’ dog while driving auto
According to Fox 40, a Stockton woman was recently captured on video walking her dog.

Was the pet owner acting abusively?
Be the exact opposite of the woman in the video: a responsible dog guardian..
Amanda Brajkovich got on the driver’s tail and shot this video and confrontation of the woman driving with a dog tethered outside the auto as the woman drive down the street. She tells KOVR, if you can’t appropriately walk your dog, you shouldn’t have a dog. She claimed the dog wasn’t dragged and there was no tension on its leash.
Pet owners we spoke with in Stockton agree.
Thankfully, the dog in the video appears to be uninjured, but this type of irresponsible, lazy, and unsafe behavior is never acceptable.
Now, the search is on for the woman caught on camera driving while dog-walking. However, “the driver would have been cited for distracted driving”.
Zimmerman could recommend a charge of animal cruelty using California Penal Code 597T, which reads, “The leash, rope or chain shall be affixed in such a manner that it will prevent the animal from becoming entangled or injured”.

“Give people more courage to actually stand up and say something to speak for the animals who can’t speak for themselves”, she said.
