“Happy to announce that I am back on UFC 200”, said McGregor.

Edgar spoke at the UFC’s International Fight Week launch event on Friday in Las Vegas, Nevada and gave his thoughts on the McGregor/UFC 200 situation.
Conor McGregor has tweeted that he is returning to the lineup for UFC 200, days after the promotion’s president Dana White ruled the Dubliner out of the event.
Diaz, who attended the press conference in Vegas Friday, said he had no interest in fighting anyone but McGregor at UFC 200 and would take a vacation otherwise.
If McGregor’s tweet is accurate, it would mean that he’s once again scheduled to face Nate Diaz after a tumultuous week of back and forth arguments between the fighter and the promotion.
Conor McGregor has been added back on the card for UFC 200 and ended his war of words with the organisation that saw him apparently announce his retirement last week. I simply wanted a slight adjustment. Conor’s a guy who has stepped up and fought big fights on short notice and I respect Conor very much as a fighter. “We’re going to figure that out”, said White.
McGregor had at one point suggested he was retiring from the sport of mixed martial arts but later said the promotional work was distracting him from training.
“I don’t know what’s going on in his head. I’ve been dodging all this for years, I’ve been in trouble for it. I understand it’s all good, let him do his thing, get his train on and then get ready to fight, it’s all good with me”. On his statement elaborating his decision to retire and unretire, he explained that what he brought to the table was more than enough in terms of promo activities.
“I am just trying to do my job and fight here”, McGregor wrote. “With the right adjustments and the right focus, I will finish what I started in that last fight”.
