“Tough fights don’t worry me a bit”, she said.Carly Fiorina watches as Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz speaks with the media ahead of a campaign rally in Rothschild, Wisc., on March 28.He said naming Ms Fiorina was “dumb”, but added: “She’s a nice woman”.

Boxer was referencing a Republican presidential debate statement by Fiorina about being unaware that during her tenure at HP the company was selling printers to Iran at a time when USA companies weren’t allowed to do so.
That’s according to a Republican with direct knowledge of the plan, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorised speak before the official announcement.
Cruz’s announcement comes after a night of losses to GOP front-runner T rump in five primaries and before the in primary May 3 and the May 7 California primary, where Fiorina ran and lost for a Senate seat in 2010.
Cruz, who trails Donald Trump in the race for the Republican nomination, called her an “extraordinary leader” who has the experience and intelligence to take over the presidency if necessary.
Cruz is counting on a contested convention to get the nomination.
Fiorina, while a presidential candidate herself, derided Cruz early this year on CNN for saying “whatever he needs to say to get elected” and she questioned the fact that he did not renounce his dual Canadian citizenship until 2014.
The former Hewlett-Packard CEO and Republican presidential candidate has been a vocal supporter of Ted Cruz.
Fiorina sat down for a one-on-one interview Thursday on FOX59 Morning News to discuss the presidential race and her hopes for the campaign.
“Like Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, [Trump] looks to government as the answer to every problem”, Cruz claimed.
Of course, the Cruz-Fiorina ticket has to get past IN first.
The news follows a rough day of primaries for the Texas senator who lost badly in a series of five northeastern primaries Tuesday. “After a great deal of time and thought”, he said “I have come to conclusion that if I am nominated to be president I will run on a ticket with my vice president Carly Fiorina”.
Cruz’s remarks seemed to jab at Trump for a comment he made in 2007 about only hiring individuals who are not as smart as he is. The other? Ronald Reagan. We’re assuming that Carly is already hard at work putting her imprint on the campaign: “First, let’s go buy JEB! for twice what he’s asking”.

Trump later argued he was referring to her “persona”.
